John -- As unemployment benefits are set to run out at the end of July, the decision of where to go next with relief for the American people is in the hands of Senate Republicans.

We are all bracing for another “relief package” that is essentially another round of corporate welfare while the general public, who are suffering, get bread crumbs. Millions are facing eviction, and millions are without adequate healthcare, and are facing additional economic fall-out from this pandemic.

Trump’s apologists in Congress -- and complacent establishment Democrats -- continue to play along as this Administration cuts U.S. funding to the World Health Organization, defunds the CDC, and tries to sweep the tremendous loss of life and more than 4 million cases of Covid-19 under the rug.

There are six months before the first member of our new Congress takes their oath in January 2021. But, we aren’t powerless. We can send a message NOW. We can support candidates who are challenging the status quo and demanding MORE from our current government.

Rebecca Parson (WA-06), Corey Strong (TN-09), Eva Putzova (AZ-01), Cori Bush (MO-01), Jessica Scarane (DE-Senate) and Alex Morse (MA-01) are all challenging entrenched establishment Democrats and they need our support now!

We are also supporting Jen Perelman (FL-23) in her heated race against establishment darling Debbie Wasserman Schultz and helping Ihssane Leckey (MA-04) win the open seat in Kennedy country.

We also need to stage massive support for Jon Hoadly (MI-06) so he can beat Trump yes-man Fred Upton in November. And we need to send the message to the establishment that we are going to keep Rashida Tlaib (MI-13) seated!

This election year is critical. The foundations of this country were built on white supremacy, sexism, and greed. But right now millions of Americans are standing up and demanding better.
