Team, it may be hard to believe, but tomorrow is ELECTION DAY in Virginia!

After pro-choice candidates swept the November elections, things have been shifting with new positions and cabinet appointments. As a result, there are several special elections happening throughout this month, starting on TUESDAY.

Tomorrow, voters need to turn out once again to vote for pro-abortion rights candidates running for the State Senate District 15 and House of Delegates District 77.

The State Senate is still in play in Virginia. Help us ensure voters are aware that these races are happening tomorrow by rushing $25 now → ([link removed])

SD 15 is critical for our Reproductive Freedom Amendment. This is an open seat that was previously represented by Ghazala Hashmi – our new Lieutenant Governor! Delegate Mike Jones is running for this seat, and he’s excellent on repro. Additionally, pro-choice candidate Charlie Schmidt is running for the seat that Mike Jones would then vacate, HD 77.

Here’s why we need folks to tune in: Democrats currently hold a single-seat majority in the Senate - 21 to 19. If it’s flipped, the chamber will be tied. VA is unique because a Lt. Governor is unable to break a tie on amendments, so it’s essential that we hold on to our majority in the Senate to keep our amendment moving forward.

Special elections tend to be low turnout — so we need to move FAST to ensure folks know to turn out and make their voices heard for abortion access. Help us get the word out by pitching in $25 immediately. ([link removed])
