[ [link removed] ]A forest is on fire, large orange flames engulf the trees.

John,

Our planet is in crisis. Forests the world over, from the Amazon to the
Congo Basin, are being hacked down so that greedy corporations can sell
more beef, soy, and wood.

Now, a critical EU law to protect the world’s forests is on the verge of
being gutted and we have just *WEEKS* to save it!

If this law is diluted, we’ll lose one of the best hopes we have for
saving precious tropical forests before it’s too late for them to recover.
But we have a real chance of stopping this, if we put enough public
pressure on lawmakers right now.

The EU is taking the start of 2026 to make a final decision. So we have to
give this everything we’ve got in these first crucial weeks: launching ads
targeting Commissioners, unleashing a massive advocacy push, mobilising
thousands of voices across Europe, and whatever else it takes to defend
critical protections for people and our planet. We urgently need your
help.

Can you chip in to make 2026 the year we save the world’s forests?

This forest-saving law should have already been implemented! Instead, EU
lawmakers are scrambling to delay, weaken, and gut it through the back
door.

If they get their way, tropical forests are on the chopping block. 18% of
the Amazon rainforest has already vanished – without strong protections,
it will reach a dangerous tipping point of no return, turning into a dry
savannah. John, it would be catastrophic for our planet, our
communities, and all life on Earth.

That’s why the EU deforestation law is a total gamechanger. It would force
corporations to PROVE that products like palm oil, wood, and cocoa haven’t
been produced on recently deforested land – finally stopping them from
rampantly destroying precious forests.

1.2 million people in the EU – and even corporate giants like Nestlé and
Unilever – want this law implemented! Because they know that without it,
we’re pushing our planet to a dangerous breaking point.

But there is powerful opposition. We have to build pressure on EU
lawmakers like never before. With their decision around the corner, we
need to move immediately – can you chip in to defend the world’s forests?
