Friend,

Months ago, Data for Progress polling found that a whopping 75% of Democrats would be more likely to vote for Joe Biden in November if he makes an even stronger commitment to the climate.

Since then, Biden has released new climate policy plans that include many of the proposals that activists and policymakers -- including our friends at Evergreen Action -- have been pushing for.

And according to brand new polling from July, it's paying off: Biden's support for ambitious clean energy projects and environmental justice could help him win votes in 12 battleground states we surveyed, including Wisconsin, Florida, and Arizona.

With enthusiasm for these climate policies growing around the country, they should receive top billing at next month's convention and beyond.

As Biden prepares to accept the Democratic nomination for president, let's make sure he knows where we stand: Sign our petition to urge Biden to run for president on a vision of an environmentally just, 100% clean energy economy.

Thanks to public pressure, Biden now has the most ambitious climate plans of any presidential nominee in history, and polling shows that making those plans a priority could turn the political tide even more in his favor.

That's why we're calling on him to give these plans top billing at the Democratic National Convention next month, in his campaign through Election Day, and, if he wins, on Day One of his presidency.

We applaud Vice President Biden for his commitment -- now, we ask him to turn that commitment into a reality.

Add your name today to urge Joe Biden to campaign on a vision of an environmentally just, 100% clean energy economy and -- if he wins -- to make it a priority on Day One of his presidency.

Activists, politicians, and voters are converging in the realization that, regardless of our political stripe or where we come from, we all have a shared interest in solving the climate crisis.

Even I don't need data to tell me that's a pretty powerful idea to campaign on.

Thanks,

Sean McElwee
