Hello,

I wanted to update you on the Trump Administration’s actions to invade Venezuela and oust Nicolás Maduro over the weekend. I am concerned that these actions will take the president’s focus away from what matters: making life more affordable for American families.

I’ve heard from so many about how the prices of groceries, rent, and childcare are going up. My own healthcare costs increased by $2,400 for 2026. I know many in our community have been hit harder.

Many constituents are expressing their concerns too. San Antonians do not want to spend billions or even trillions on “running Venezuela.” In Congress, I will continue my efforts to pass a War Powers Resolution to block unconstitutional military force in Venezuela so that we can focus on making life more affordable in San Antonio.

What are your thoughts?

That's all for now. If you'd like to stay in touch, connect with me on X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, BlueSky, and YouTube. As always, feel free to write to my office or call us at 210-348-8216.

Sincerely,
