Friend,
Last week we hit a milestone by winning our thirtieth (30th!) case against the Trump Administration. But we didn’t stop to celebrate. We went right back to work, because the rate of lawlessness from Donald Trump and his administration is accelerating.
In just the last week since defeating the Trump Administration’s international student policy, my legal team and I challenged three more illegal actions by the Trump Administration:-
We filed a federal lawsuit challenging the Trump Administration’s policy allowing insurance companies to discriminate against LGBTQ+ Washingtonians.
-
We filed a second lawsuit challenging Betsy DeVos’s attempt to circumvent the law and divert CARES Act emergency funding away from Washington public schools and the most vulnerable Washingtonians.
-
We co-led a federal lawsuit challenging the EPA’s attempt to handcuff states’ and tribes’ abilities to protect clean water.
While my legal team and I work around the clock to defend Washingtonians from the Trump Administration’s illegal policies, my opponents are attacking me for this important work.
I need your help to fight back. Will you support my re-election and help us raise $4,000 by our fundraising deadline on Saturday at midnight?
My opponents emphatically stand behind their promise to give President Trump's illegal actions a free pass, regardless of the harm to Washingtonians.
In other words, they will look the other way as the Trump Administration threatens our environment and restricts access to health care during a pandemic.Unlike my opponents, inaction is not an option for me.With so much at stake, we cannot miss our Saturday fundraising deadline. Can I count on you to contribute $10 now?
Thank you for standing with me at this critical moment —
Bob
