My opponent, Stephen Lynch, finally held a town hall meeting in last week, and he showed his true colors.
When asked about his stance on impeachment of President Trump, Lynch simply screamed and scolded his constituents, telling them they were wrong to want to hold Trump accountable. ‘You’re gonna give Donald Trump another four years,’ he lectured.

You and I know this is about holding Trump accountable to the rule of law, not politics. Lynch seems to think he is a political strategist and any impeachment effort will guarantee Trump’s re-election. If that conjecture is more important to Lynch than following the law as prescribed by the Constitution, then his priorities could not be more out of whack.
Many of the nearly 300 constituents at the town hall held up red cards with the message ‘#DoSomething.’
When I get to Congress, I will. I'll hold Trump and anyone else who breaks the law accountable.
