Senate Republicans just showed the country exactly how little they care about our wellbeing and prosperity. 

Shortly before skipping town for the rest of the year for an extended holiday vacay, the Senate voted on a bill that would provide a clean extension of ACA subsidies that would have saved millions of Americans from devastating premium increases that took effect on January 1. 

Only four Republican Senators voted with every Democrat to extend the subsidies.

This is what happens when people like Ashley Moody are in control. Moody represents Florida in the Senate. The ACA subsidy fight is a perfect example why Ron DeSantis and Trump selected her: she will never, even if it means causing her constituents extreme harm and hardship, vote against Trump’s wishes.

Now that the ACA subsidies have lapsed, around 4 million Floridians will have their healthcare premiums increase astronomically, for many going up by as much as three times as before.

We can’t wait any longer to go on offense to win this Senate race—between the costs continuing to rise and Trump starting an illegal war in Venezuela (and wherever else he may turn to next), we have to go all-in on defeating Ashley Moody right now to stop MAGA.
