Errr, happy new year, everyone … ☹

Rights Action will soon publish more information about the Jan.3 invasion of Venezuela, and kidnapping of the Venezuelan President and President’s wife, who are now political prisoners in the U.S.

We will also focus attention on how this brutal and blatant act of imperialism was received, as always, with clear support from the sovereign, independent government of the 51st State (a.k.a. Canada).

As always, we will make the direct connections between this full attack on the government, State and people of Venezuela, and our on-going work in Guatemala and Honduras.

In a recent Democracy Now interview, Arundhati Roy said “the whole charade of Western liberal democracy is as much of a corpse under the rubble as the tens of thousands of Palestinians.”This “whole charade” is once again on full display in the aftermath of what the U.S. just did in Venezuela.
