John, it's Brad reaching out with some incredible news:
United Auto Workers Region 9A is endorsing me for Congress!

I cannot stress how incredible of a moment this is for us, so before I ask you to join them in supporting this campaign [[link removed]] , let me explain why .
UAW Region 9A aren't just some of the best organizers in the country. They're also my longtime allies, and I'm deeply grateful to have them on board.
They are making a powerful statement that working people don't want billionaires buying seats in Congress.
Take a look at what UAW Region 9A Director Brandon Mancilla had to say about the campaign: ⬇️
“UAW Region 9A is excited to endorse Brad Lander for Congress. We have known and worked with Brad for years and know he walks the walk. In every role he’s served, he’s called out bad bosses, walked picket lines with all our locals, and leveraged the tools of his office to fight for workers. From housing to workers' rights, we know Brad will be a steadfast champion for working people in Congress.”
John, I've spent decades working with labor to ensure that workers don't get screwed.
In the City Council, I won groundbreaking new labor protections for hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers, guaranteeing Uber drivers and deliveristas a living wage, requiring stable schedules for fast-food and retail workers, and protecting freelancers from wage theft.
As Comptroller , I recovered over $20 million for workers whose bosses cheated them out of the prevailing wages they were owed, and made sure the companies we invested in respected the rights of their workers to organize.
In Congress, I'll work with the UAW and other labor unions to ensure that workers don’t get screwed by AI, by app companies, or by billionaire bosses who try to exploit shifts in the economy to pad their profits — and that all workers have the right to organize and bargain collectively, and have dignity on the job.
John, I'm ready to fight, not fold, for working people in Congress, but I'm counting on your help to get there. Can you chip in today to join our team with UAW District 9 and help us win? [[link removed]]

Brad is an organizer who brings neighbors together to win big fights, and a problem-solver who gets things done.
He’s been fighting for his neighbors for decades – as a dad, a housing organizer, our City Councilmember, and our Comptroller. He’s a proven legislator whose laws deliver for working people. In Congress, he’ll fight for all of us.
Brad is running for Congress because at this urgent moment, we need leaders who will fight, not fold.
Fight against an authoritarian federal government that is abducting our neighbors.
Fight for a New York that is affordable and welcoming for everyone.
Fight for an economy that isn’t stacked against us.
Fight to make government actually deliver on the promise of the American dream.
