The election in November is going to be like none we’ve ever experienced. I want to fill you in on our plans to handle it.

We’re lucky to live in a state that’s proactive about making it safe and easy to vote. Let’s be honest -- most voters will be casting a ballot through the mail for the first time. What that means for campaigns like ours is that we’ll be doing less organizing on the ground to drive people to the polls and a whole lot more work helping voters navigate the process of casting an absentee ballot.

We’re going all in to help people vote by mail this fall -- and we need your help. With our monthly fundraising deadline coming up in a matter of days, will you chip in to help make sure we have the resources to get out the vote in this unprecedented election?

It’d be one thing if our leaders were speaking from the same script about the importance of voting by mail. But we’ve already seen efforts by the Trump White House to scare people away from mail-in ballots. They’re willing to straight-up lie about how the process works. Trump himself has leveled completely unsubstantiated claims about widespread fraud.

So we’ve got our work cut out for us. That makes fundraising deadlines like the one coming up absolutely critical to our efforts -- we must raise the resources we need to push back against misinformation from conservative talking heads and help people vote by mail.
