On New Year’s Day, Keir set out what this year really means. It’s the year that Labour’s choices start changing people’s lives:

“In April, we will scrap the Two Child Limit, lifting 450,000 children out of poverty. That means fewer children going to bed hungry. Fewer waking up in cold bedrooms.” – Prime Minister Keir Starmer

This is just one example of Labour values in action, and there is much more to come.

This year, change rooted in Labour values will be felt across the country, with cheaper energy bills, frozen rail fares, more police on our streets, better access to childcare, and patients being seen faster.

Real improvements, to people’s real lives, delivered by Labour.

Which is exactly why what happens next matters so much.

Because while Labour is delivering, Farage’s Reform is preparing. In 122 days, voters will decide the leadership of local authorities across England. That's who controls local services and determines the direction of our communities.

Last year, they took £9 million from a single donor — the largest individual donation in British political history — and Farage has pledged to go “double or quits” in this year’s local elections, committing an extraordinary £5 million to his party’s campaign.

They will use it to flood communities with division and prey on anger, shaping how local issues are debated across the country.

So, we want to be straight with you. One appeal alone will not close the funding gap opened by Reform. We will not pretend it will.

But in the next 48 hours thousands of people acting together can still determine what happens in May.

If enough people step up now and we campaign strategically, we can win critical ground by ensuring Reform’s money doesn’t drown out our message.

That only happens if people choose to act.

If you are able, please make an early donation today to power Labour’s local election campaign.

Some people give £3, others give £5 and some give more. By giving, you are helping to make sure we can invest early where it matters most.

Your donation directly funds the work that wins, from reaching the doors where elections are decided, to training volunteers and powering the campaign technology that gives Labour the edge.

This is what makes the difference, a campaign built by people choosing to get involved.

Labour is delivering national renewal. Now we need to make sure our message of positive change reaches every doorstep that Reform is targeting.

If you can give today, your donation helps fund this critical effort.

Let’s start this year the way we need to, campaigning hard locally while our government delivers nationally.

Thank you for making it happen,
