Help us provide training and resources to young leaders in the fight against Big Tobacco today >>

John,

Our annual Youth Advocacy Symposium is underway! But it looks a little different this year. Over 100 young leaders from across the U.S. are coming together on Zoom this month to share and learn skills to be stronger advocates in the fight against tobacco. They inspire us every day.

While we usually bring them to Washington, D.C., for hands-on advocacy, communications, and leadership training, COVID-19 has forced us to do everything virtually this time.

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi speaks to youth advocates at our 2020 symposium.Things have been going great! Through creative programs and workshops, we've been able to deliver the same high level of training and support that we always do – with even more expert trainers, reaching even more youth. We're especially excited that Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi of Illinois joined us to welcome and inspire our youth.

Support our year-round youth advocacy training programs today.

These young people will work with us throughout the year to advocate for effective policies to reduce youth tobacco use, including ending the sale of flavored tobacco and vaping products that are addicting a new generation. They're on the front lines of this crisis; they see it every day in their schools. This makes their voices very important – and extremely powerful – in the fight to stop Big Tobacco from targeting kids.

Our mission is to listen to their stories, empower them to fight back against this predatory industry, and give them the skills and resources they need to do it.

YOU make this possible.

Sincerely,

Gustavo Torrez
Director of Youth Advocacy
