[link removed] [[link removed]] John,Tomorrow marks five years since the January 6th insurrection—a dark day when we saw the heart of American democracy attacked.
A crowd of traitors stormed the U.S. Capitol, put lives in danger, brutalized Capitol Police officers, and tried to overthrow our government. What happened that day was unconscionable. And the threat to our democracy didn’t end when the mob was cleared from the building.
I want to be direct with you: this fight isn’t over—not even close.
Since Donald Trump returned to office, he and his allies have put tremendous pressure on the rule of law. He’s flouted the Constitution—abusing his pardon power, seeking retribution against his foes through law enforcement, and even threatening me and several of my colleagues with death for stating the law, for crying out loud.
No matter what Trump or his congressional allies try to do, nothing will deter me from standing up for our democracy, defending our freedoms, and doing my job for the people of Western PA. Quitting just isn’t in our vocabulary here.
If you’re able, please chip in today to help me continue the fight to defend our democracy and our Constitution → [[link removed]]If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

John, Donald Trump made it his top priority on Day One of his presidency to pardon the criminals who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Criminals who stormed our Capitol and beat the crap out of cops should be serving time, not being served pardons on Day One of Trump’s presidency.
But those are Donald Trump’s priorities. Not bringing down costs, not his oath to the Constitution—but pandering to criminals and cop beaters.
That behavior isn’t patriotic, John. It’s weak, and it’s pathetic.
I first swore an oath to defend our Constitution at 17 years old, when I entered the Naval Academy. I swore that same oath again when I was elected to represent Pennsylvania in Congress.
That oath is sacred—and it doesn’t expire. It’s why I’ve stood up to Donald Trump and anyone who continues to undermine our democracy, threaten our rights, and put their own power ahead of the rule of law.
America is worth fighting for. I will always defend our freedoms and protect our Constitution.
This is a critical moment for our democracy. If you’re with me in this fight, I’d be grateful for your support.
