District 20 Lexington & Richland Counties Dick Harpootlian is a former solicitor, member of county council and no-nonsense attorney who is known for his ability to get results when no one else can. Senator Harpootlian has been outspoken in urging the Governor to change course with his COVID-19 response. He wrote An Open Letter to the Governor in which he asked the Governor to close businesses that refused to comply with public health guidelines.
