Hey Everyone,

We hope you enjoyed the holidays with your loved ones.

We are entering the new year in a major crisis with Donald Trump’s illegal invasion of Venezuela and kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife overnight on January 2nd.

Trump did not run this action by Congress as required by the Constitution. He did not even consult the Gang of Eight. Only Congress holds war powers, and Trump has offered no proof of an imminent threat that would justify his administration’s actions. Our Members of Congress must push back on this Constitutional violation and reassert their role as a co-equal branch of government. It is essential that you call your representatives and senators and demand that they hold Trump and his administration accountable!
