The Lincoln Project

Friend,

Death, taxes, and MAGA shutting down the government.

So much to unpack here.

Oh wait, we mean so little to unpack here.

Trump’s too stupid to come up with a healthcare plan and Mike Johnson could give a shit if federal workers don’t get paid while he takes his millionth vacation.

Or, in even simpler terms, MAGA isn’t capable of governing.

Trump has shut down the government three times. Last time, he broke the record for longest government shutdown in American history. When it’s time to play the blame game, everybody knows who to look at. Well, everybody except Trump.

You’ve seen this before. You know how he’s gonna play this. Even though his party controls all three branches of government, we all know that Donald Trump is going to blame the Democrats for his fourth government shutdown.

Now, there’s no stopping Trump from squawking on Truth Social and Mike Lindell’s “news” channel, but there is such a thing as being louder. And that’s exactly what we have to do.

We’ve done this before. Combating Trump’s lies and making sure the voters know who to blame for the second shutdown in less than six months starts with us. Support our work so we can point the finger and flip even more Trump voters >>
