Hey there — I just wanted to take a moment to explain how our work has changed over the past few months. I know this is a challenging time for many, so our campaign has been taking it day by day and doing our best to adapt to this new reality.

Back in March, we made the right decision to cancel all in-person campaign events and move our entire fundraising operation online. That’s why my team and I have been working around the clock (and sending you quite a few of these pesky emails!) to stretch every dollar as far as we can.

Now, we are nearly 100 days away from one of the most consequential elections of our lifetimes, and Wisconsin voters will play a critical role in selecting our next president.

After Donald Trump’s narrow victory here in 2016, he’s prepared to spend whatever it takes to secure another win in Wisconsin. His campaign has reserved millions of dollars in TV ads and a pro-Trump PAC just dumped $23 million more into swing states, including ours.

This moment will require a different kind of response to overcome this influx of GOP cash, which means my team and I will be relying on emails like this a heck of a lot more. So, here’s the part where you come in.

Next week, we will face our monthly fundraising deadline and unfortunately, there’s been a significant dip in our numbers over the last few days. Fewer folks are opening these messages, and I get it — it’s beautiful outside and the last thing you want to do is check your email. But this fundraising slump is bad news for our campaign.

That’s why I’m humbly asking you to chip in a donation of any amount to help us hit our fundraising target before the end-of-month deadline. Your contribution will help make sure Donald Trump and the GOP don’t win Wisconsin again.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

I have no doubt we will face more challenges in the weeks ahead, especially with every inch of our lives surrounded by so much uncertainty. Please only give if you can afford to do so. Putting your family and your health first is the most important thing you can do right now.

Thanks for everything.
