Friend, we always knew that Pete Hegseth was unfit and unqualified to serve as Secretary of Defense. It's why his confirmation was only the second time in U.S. history that a Vice President cast a tie-breaking vote for a cabinet secretary – with members of Hegseth's own party voting against him.
So, of course, after JD Vance cemented Hegseth's confirmation, chaos ensued, including:
* "Signalgate," where Hegseth and other Trump officials shared sensitive information about a military operation in an unsecured personal chat room.
* The order of potentially unlawful, deadly strikes in the Caribbean.
* The eradication of press freedoms and transparency at the Pentagon.
And now, even the Department of Defense's own Inspector General confirmed Hegseth created unacceptable risks to U.S. troops and national security by sharing sensitive operational battle plans in a Signal group chat.
After a full year of recklessly dangerous leadership, Hegseth cannot be allowed to serve another day in a role he never should have held in the first place. That's why we're counting on at least 5,000 members of this team to make their voices heard before midnight by responding to our urgent poll:
SHOULD PETE HEGSETH RESIGN?
