You may not know this about me, John: I’ve always been a bit of a dreamer.
Even when people told me my goals were impossible—whether it was pushing bipartisan legislation or running a spirited campaign for Congress in 2022—I never backed down from the hard work and dreaming of what IS possible.
My parents taught me a simple, powerful lesson right here in Lincoln: never do anything half-heartedly. That advice has stuck with me throughout my life, from building a business and a family to serving as State Senator for District 28 to fighting to expand education and bolster businesses.
I’ve worked tirelessly and made multiple friends across the aisle because I believe politics should bring us together, not drive us apart.
I’m ready to take that love for our communities, for our State, and for its people back to the Capitol to continue the work that still needs to be done.
I've seen the momentum growing across our District, and I feel the enthusiasm from Nebraskans who see our race as a chance to work with determination and compassion.
