As we start a critically important year for our democracy, we’re so grateful that you’re part of the Vote Forward community.
Vote Forward volunteers are the engine behind everything we do—and although sometimes it’s hard to see the impact of our work in the moment, today we wanted to share some notes we’ve received from letter recipients that make it clear how meaningful this work is:
“Just wanted to say I received one of these letters in the mail today and I thought it was a very kind and impactful way of getting the word out to folks to vote, and I sincerely appreciated receiving it! Way more effective messaging than the instant recycle bin mass mailer political flyers… People need more human-to-human connection—even if it’s through an old fashioned letter.”
“I received this in the mail a couple days ago and wanted to send a quick thank you! I'm a Sonoma County DSA member and we've been canvassing for this cause, so receiving this handwritten note gave me a sense of solidarity that was uplifting. So I thought I'd send a quick thank you and best wishes!”
This year, we’re committed to building on the work we’ve done so far and finding more new ways to engage voters in the elections that will shape our democracy. And as always, Vote Forward volunteers will remain at the center of it all.
