True Texas Project

Hello, True Texas Army!

I gotta tell ya... about 3 days before Christmas, I was starting to feel resentful. No matter how much work we did at True Texas Project, there was still so much more to be done. I was missing the entire holiday season! Hadn't done any shopping and had barely decorated, much less made any plans or done any baking. However, fast forward a week and a half of down time, and on Friday I found myself antsy and just itching to get out there and kick some political tail.  Thank God for the rest He provides our weary souls!  He is truly my respite and knows my needs.  And better yet, He prepares us for battle, and He goes before us in the fight.  It's gonna be a great year!!!!  I'm glad you're with us.

TRAINING THE ARMY

We can't go into battle without being properly trained. Join us in The Woodlands on Jan 24 for a conference that will equip you with the knowledge and insight you need before you can elect good representation and then hold them accountable. You've got to check out the line-up of topics.  You'll be impressed!  The conference ticket is only $60 for the whole day of speakers, lunch, a candidate fair, and a comedy hour.  If you are not in the Houston area, get there.  It is worth the drive!  True Texas Project is well-known for having the best speakers, and this will live up to that reputation.

ENGAGING THE ARMY

With elections rapidly approaching, there are two things you need to be keyed into:

  1. TTP DAY OF ACTION:  On Feb 7, True Texans across the state will work together to distribute our slate of recommended candidates in their area.  We'll partner with a local candidate and spend a few hours knocking doors, distributing literature, making calls, and/or whatever else is needed.  Mark your calendar now!  As we build our list of locations, it will be added to our website here.

  2. ELECTION RECOMMENDATIONS:  Just as we do for every election, we've got a list of candidate recommendations on our website that is ever-growing. So far we've got 170 counties!  We will keep adding to it, so be sure to check back before you vote.

And for those in Tarrant, Denton, and Collin Counties, we've got recommendations for your runoff elections on Jan 31.  Check it out!

CELEBRATING THE ARMY

Every year we host the biggest and best gala in the state -- Texas Tough!  We pick the date to coincide with Victory in San Jacinto, the day Texas won the war with Mexico. Perfect, right? Texans love their independence! This year our party will be on April 18 at River Ranch in the Ft Worth Stockyards.  Tickets will go on sale at the end of this month for the same price as last year ($145), so go ahead... save your pennies and mark your calendar now. I promise... you do not want to miss what we are planning to celebrate YOU!
