Predictably, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries attacked President Trump even after a successful operation that removed a brutal dictator and drug lord from power.
Yet even some Democrats—particularly those in Florida who have witnessed firsthand the suffering of millions displaced from Venezuela—understand the truth: this operation was not only successful, it was necessary.
Congratulations to the brave men and women of the United States military, President Trump, his national security team, and the people of Venezuela. They now have a chance to reject socialism and embrace liberty.
But as Jeffries’ reaction made clear, if Democrats take control of the House this November, they will do everything they can to obstruct President Trump—including launching yet another impeachment.
We cannot let that happen.
