House Representative Ayanna Pressley has just taken a bold step and introduced an amendment to remove Hyde language, which bans Medicaid coverage of abortion, from the federal spending bill passed by the House Appropriations Committee earlier this month.

If given a vote and passed, Rep. Pressley’s amendment will ensure that abortion care is accessible and affordable for all.
