John–

The House passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act one month
ago—and the Senate still has not brought it up for a vote.

[ [link removed]- ]Tell your U.S. Senators that they need to address police violence now
by passing the Justice in Policing Act.

The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act is a long overdue bill that will
work to address police violence, racism, and white supremacy in this
country. Among other things, it will empower state officials to hold local
police accountable for abuse and discrimination, improve data that tracks
officer misconduct, and work to demilitarize the police. While the federal
government only has so much control over how state and city police govern,
the Justice in Policing Act would help move our country closer to creating
an America where Black lives matter and Black people receive justice.

And yet, it has been a month since the House passed the George Floyd
Justice in Policing Act and the Senate has still not brought it up for a
vote. We need to make it clear to Leader McConnell and his allies in the
Senate that our country cannot afford another month of inaction.

[ [link removed]- ]John, tell your Senators to pass the Justice in Policing
Act.

Thank you for taking action.
