In the third and fourth quarters of 2019, our Health Services department implemented Health Care For All through our Primary Care and Gender-Affirming Care initiatives. When the COVID-19 pandemic changed the face of healthcare overnight, these initiatives allowed our staff to adapt quickly and maintain the high-quality care upon which our patients rely. Our clinic doors remained open and continue to provide the care that makes Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington DC Health Services Department our Essential Service providers.
