Meet our recent Apprenticeship and Pathways Program graduates
King County Metro employee in a yellow safety jacket is handed a certificate at a graduation ceremony.

Meet our recent Apprenticeship and Pathways Program graduates, Shelby McCaddon and Cindy Reyes Ramos!

* Shelby is now a Career Service Building Operating Engineer
* Cindy is now a Career Service Painter

Earlier this month we celebrated the incredible journey these apprentices have been on. Both women work in Metro's Transit Facilities Division and have excelled in their fields under the supervision of experienced mentors.

These apprenticeships require both on-the-job training as well as formal schooling, and are regulated and accredited through Labor and Industries. Both rigorous programs are over 3 years long.

Congratulations to Shelby and Cindy for accomplishing this major career milestone!
