It’s 1:50 p.m. here in Washington, D.C., and ...

Republicans in the Senate and White House STILL can’t agree on how severely to botch their long overdue response to legislation Democrats passed in the House — over two months ago — for the next round of coronavirus relief Americans desperately need.

We are JUST DAYS AWAY from the expiration of federal unemployment benefits and an eviction moratorium that have kept literally millions of Americans financially afloat and in their homes since the crisis began.

Yet Republicans can’t even come up with a first draft for their proposed legislation?

(While we know, based on what Mitch McConnell and the White House have said, that whatever they propose will be all kinds of inadequate, without it, Congress can’t start the process of negotiating, and ultimately passing, a comprehensive good bill, or any bill at all.)

Meanwhile, the Trump Pandemic is surging in all but a handful of states.

Tens of millions of Americans could become penniless and homeless because Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump can’t manage to get their own party in line.

Tell Congress:

Pass emergency legislation RIGHT NOW to extend the current federal unemployment benefits and eviction moratorium.

Add your name.

Thanks for taking action.

In unity,
