We did it: we set a goal of raising $12,000 by December 31, and we smashed it. We brought in at least $18,383! That's 53% more than our target.
We secured the $10,000 match our board pledged, bringing that total to at least $28,383. This is officially our most successful year-end campaign ever. That number is likely to climb even higher when we return to the office on Monday and open up envelopes containing paper checks.
At least 128 of you stepped up to make year-end gifts to GGWash and our 501(c)(3) sister organization GGWash Commons. You made this happen. Thank you so much.
For the curious: Donors contributed about 70% of those funds to GGWash and about 30% to GGWash Commons. I'm so glad we have both orgs to support a wide range of work and help you make the giving decisions that make the most sense for you.
With your help, we'll continue the work to make this a region where housing is abundant and affordable, and where it's safe and easy to take transit, bike, walk, or roll to get around.
