, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:
How many mistakes can a school board make? ([link removed]
Last week, a school board in Maryland voted to continue "distance learning" into the new school year, provoking an intense response from the community. Curiously, the board asked parents to take a survey, but didn't wait for the results before voting. It also added the discussion and vote to the meeting agenda only at the last moment and didn't publicize it. Yet the teachers' union apparently knew of the impending decision. CRC's Jon Rodeback sorts through the series of unfortunate "coincidences" here ([link removed]
A California teachers' union holds schools hostage ([link removed]
The United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) has a long list of demands before schools may reopen, including Medicare for All, a wealth tax, a state income tax hike, defunding the police, and a ban on new charter schools. The union is holding economic recovery and students' education for ransom, demanding more tax dollars and surrender to a far-left agenda. CRC's Michael Watson reports on the hostage situation here ([link removed]
Are Arabella's minions trying to seize permanent control of American politics? ([link removed]
The Fair Elections Center, a left-wing pressure group, employs a host of lawyers to litigate against alleged "voter suppression" laws such as voter ID requirements. A similar group, Secure Elections for America Now, lobbies for automatic voter registration for teenagers and all-mail voting in 2020--a magnet for voter fraud. Both ironically named groups were incubated by the New Venture Fund, Arabella's flagship nonprofit. CRC's Hayden Ludwig connects the dots here ([link removed]
Why has reform of ([link removed]
Many conservatives and liberals have called for reform or abolition of civil asset forfeiture. Yet a relatively small number of influential and generally respected interest groups have effectively blocked it. These groups have their own reasons for supporting what most Americans view as a bad practice. CRC's Robert Stilson surveys the political battlefield and the order of battle here ([link removed]

With the consensus on ending police brutality, many wonder how anyone could have a problem with Black Lives Matter. But on this topic, the Left and Right often talk past each other. To the center-Left, Black Lives Matter is a grassroots rallying cry to bring attention to police violence. But to the Right and the far Left, Black Lives Matter involves specific groups, with radical goals that go far beyond ending police brutality.Watch our 5-minute video ([link removed]
