Dear Friend,
As we reflect on a year marked by unprecedented challenges and hard-fought victories, we want to take a moment to reflect on what we accomplished – in defiance of all efforts to deter communities like ours.
In 2004, the Young Center was founded and operated on a shoestring budget. We worked with 70 immigrant children in federal detention. Over 20 years later, our impact and reach is far greater, thanks to our community’s support. |
These numbers reflect the power of community and what we can achieve together when we center the courage and dignity of immigrant children and families.
Thank you for standing with us through it all, Friend. We are in awe of how you and the entire Young Center community have shown up this past year – walking in lockstep with immigrant children and families through every challenge. Many in our community have also renewed or increased their support this past year, and we are deeply grateful. Thank you. We see you. We appreciate you.
As we look forward to the next 20 years of advocacy and accompaniment at the Young Center, we hope you continue to join us in holding the line for justice and immigrant families. |
Warmly,
The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights
