John, Our incumbent representative seems to think that Miami residents are tuned out. She says that no one is thinking about what’s happening in Washington — and I think that’s as absurd as you do.
It is impossible to tune out when we are seeing the prices of groceries continue to rise. When we're seeing rent, childcare, and insurance become increasingly unaffordable. When we’re seeing our friends and neighbors lose their legal immigration status at the drop of a hat, and watching as tariffs hammer small businesses. I’m running for Congress because I think it’s time we had a leader who not only knows what Miami residents are going through, but is going through them right alongside you as a business owner and father of a young son.
I want to tell you where I stand on the issues that matter most. But don’t worry, I’m not about to hit you with a long essay! Here are some of my top priorities as your next Congressman:
|
✅ Restore the American Dream by lowering the cost of housing, child care, and groceries while boosting wages ✅ Protect Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and other critical programs from cuts that only fund billionaire tax breaks
✅ Defend our Democracy by standing up to the Trump administration and for our rights and freedoms
✅ Build a More Resilient Miami by expanding infrastructure projects and cracking down on insurance companies ✅ Save our Environment from pollution, overdevelopment, and political land grabs
|
I know that the incumbent is wrong about Miami residents. I know that folks like you have been thinking about what’s happening in Washington, and I know that you’re sick and tired of the same old story.
It’s time for something different. Together, we can win this seat and build a better Miami! Richard
