A note from our chair, Annette Osnos,
Dear Teton County Democrats,
Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope you all had a joyful, restful holiday season and are stepping into 2026 with a little extra energy and optimism.
I want to start by saying how grateful I am for the incredible response to my December note. In just a few days, so many of you wrote back with ideas, offers to help, and words of encouragement. It was energizing, inspiring, and honestly a little moving to see how much love and commitment there is for our community and our party here in Teton County.
We head into this new year with real momentum. We have people ready to work on elections and voter turnout, people eager to recruit and support candidates, people passionate about housing, healthcare, the environment, and affordability — and people willing to give their time, their skills, and their resources to make it all happen. That’s how winning organizations are built.
In January, we’ll begin bringing this energy together into clear action: organizing ourselves, setting priorities, and launching the work that will carry us through 2026. Whether you’re able to give a little time, a lot of time, or just want to stay connected and informed, there is a place for you here.
Thank you for being part of this community and for believing in what we can accomplish together. I’m excited for what’s ahead — and I’m so glad you’re in this with us.
Here’s to a strong, hopeful, and productive 2026.
Warmly,
Annette
Greetings fellow Democrats, and Happy New Year!!
Snow is here, and the temps are holding! The year 2026 will bring many new ideas, and even more action.
While there have been successes in the past few elections, in New York City, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, this fight is not over.
Our Congresswoman, Harriet Hageman, has announced she is running for Senate ([link removed]) , to fill the vacancy left by Senator Cynthia Lummis. As she is heavily backed by the "Club for Growth ([link removed]) " PAC, it will be an uphill battle to beat her, however we must all work together to defeat her.
Our Secretary of State, Chuck Gray, has announced he is running for Congress ([link removed]) , to replace Congresswoman Harriet Hageman. This is now a double threat to all of Wyoming and her great citizens, at the federal level, from wildlife issues to abortion rights, whilst not forgetting the many perils to our voting rights.
