Friend --
Nearly five years ago, the peaceful transfer of power came under
attack. On January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill Police and DC Metropolitan
Police officers put themselves in harm’s way to defend the
Constitution and the United States Capitol.
And they held the line.
Nearly four years ago, Congress authorized a permanent plaque to
honor those officers for their courage and sacrifice. That plaque
still has not been displayed.
That’s wrong—and it’s time to fix it.
We’re organizing a Day
of Action to urge House Leadership to do what should
already be done: hang the plaque and formally honor the law
enforcement officers who defended our democracy. If Members of Congress
truly Back the Blue, this should be easy.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about gratitude. It’s about
accountability. It’s about honoring those who served.
That’s why Country First is taking action.
Join us for a Day
of Action this Tuesday, January
6th, at 1 PM Eastern, as we contact key members of Congress to
hang the Plaque and honor the men and women that protected them that
day and continue to protect them.
Onward,
Team Country First https://www.country1st.com/
