In the House, we fought to include Medicaid provisions in important healthcare legislation. But in order to take full advantage of the funding, Kansas needs to expand Medicaid.

Governor Kelly has a plan for that – but Republicans have stood in the way at every turn. And in doing so, they’ve blocked expanded coverage for about 130,000 low-income Kansans.

This is unacceptable. Healthcare is a human right that should be accessible for all, regardless of income.
