On the first day of the new year, the LaRouche
organization wishes to call attention to the 250th birthday of the
United States. So, by the way, does the British empire—Perfidious
Albion. Two days ago, the London economist produced a typically
insipid anglophile view of the United States in 2026, and of the
ceremonies planned by the dysfunctional congressional commission, and
the “America 250 Commission” of Donald Trump.
The LaRouche Organization, 50 years ago, at the time of the
nation’s bicentennial, launched an investigation into the truth of
American history. An intensive campaign to demand familiarity with
original sources of American history was enacted. As a result, there
were discoveries made then, just as discoveries will be made this
year. In the course of the bicentennial ceremonies of a half century
ago, we, among other things, re-introduced Americans to The American
System of physical economy. We re-introduced them to the American
Revolutionary figure Mathew Carey, his son Henry Charles Carey, and
the German American system economist, Friedrich List. A vigorous
initiative to take back self government through cultural literacy
about the real history of the American Revolution can return much
needed solidarity to our nation, whose citizens must never forget that
they are "one nation, indivisible."
Tonight, Lynne Speed will discuss the exciting perspective for
this year, a year of a new found independence which will characterize
American cultural and political life, followed by us revisiting a
webcast from July 4, 2020, on the universal significance of the
American Revolution.
