Outdoors challenge celebrates America's 250th
A new year is your chance to get active and spend more time outside — and Nebraska Game and Parks' new challenge is a great way to do that.
The 250-Mile Challenge is a free, year-long program encouraging Nebraskans to complete 250 miles of outdoor activity, by walking, hiking, biking, kayaking or other means.
The challenge starts Jan. 1 – meaning you can kick off the challenge with our First Day Hikes. Use your favorite fitness app to track progress; submit a photo and proof of your mileage to be entered for prizes, including a two-night stay at a Nebraska state park.
