Happy New Year!

Here at Oregon Right to Life, we hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are ready to start putting your New Year’s resolutions into practice!

On this first day of the new year, we just wanted to briefly reflect on what this past year has been like for pro-life advocates here in Oregon, and what we see on the horizon for 2026.

Looking back on 2025 PRO-LIFE WINS Last year, you helped us… Defeat eight of nine dangerous pieces of legislation in the 2025 legislative session, including a bill that would’ve expanded assisted suicide.Collect over 30,000 donated diapers for moms and families in need and distribute them to pro-life pregnancy resource centers across Oregon. Host our annual events including Together We Advocate, the Oregon March for Life, and our pro-life gala, A Night for Advocacy.Raise funds to power pro-life action in the community and in the Oregon legislature. Publish a brand new pro-life resource guide for Umatilla County, reaching hundreds of families in Eastern Oregon.Share the pro-life message with over 1,200 people (including around 550 students) through our speakers’ bureau program. Looking forward to 2026 PRO-LIFE PLANS Together, this year, we will... Introduce pro-life legislation and keep advocates informed and engaged as we push back against radical anti-life policies.Stand ready to rally the pro-life vote in the upcoming May and November elections. Mobilize pro-life Oregonians through our annual events and volunteer opportunities.Work collaboratively with our pro-life partners to ensure moms and families are encircled in care and support in choosing life. Take a strong leadership role in opposition to the deceptively named “Equal Rights for All” pro-abortion ballot initiative, which would enshrine a “right” to abortion in our state constitution.Publish a pro-life resource guide for Malheur County on the Oregon-Idaho border, an area targeted by Planned Parenthood for abortion tourism.
