John:
Refugee children around the world have had an incredibly challenging year — especially those who've had to flee their homes. Will you take a moment to send them a heartwarming and uplifting note? »
We'll be sure to share your message with a special group of refugee children this month.
The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting refugees in so many ways. Young children have lost their access to medical care and nutrition, their opportunity to go to school, and their ability to play and interact with friends.
But, with the dedicated support of people like you, the IRC is on the frontlines, providing nutrition services and health care. We're also reaching children with education programs online, providing activities that focus on language skills, hygiene, social-emotional learning and physical movement.
Together, you and IRC teams are making a lifesaving difference for children. In 2019 alone, we educated 1,474,900 children and treated 418,000 children suffering from illnesses.
John, let's shine a bright light for refugee children again! It will mean so much to them to receive a note of encouragement from you. Please, will you send one today? »
Thank you for caring so much about children and families in crisis.
