A new year brings a fresh start. It’s a chance to build healthier habits and recommit ourselves to growth, healing — and even redemption.

I believe nothing is beyond redemption, not even the toxicity of Washington.

I didn’t run for Congress to chase headlines, but instead because I also still believe deeply in our country and its promise. And I believe the American people deserve a government that treats them with dignity — a government that they can trust and count on.

Alongside other thoughtful, like-minded freshman colleagues, we have a real opportunity to fix what’s been broken for far too long. This work matters too much not to try.
