Happy New Year, John!

I
just wanted to express my deep gratitude. I’m amazed by the
movement we’ve built together.

Last night, we closed the books on our last end-of-quarter deadline before
the primary. We’re still tallying up the final total, but I’m proud to say
that we have more than 200,000 small-dollar donors powering this campaign.

I couldn’t be prouder. 200,000 individual people chipping in whatever they
can afford. 10,000 folks who have signed up to give their time and efforts
with our volunteer team. And not a dime from corporate PACs.

[ [link removed] ]I know this won’t be easy. We are the underdogs they’ve tried to count
out.

This is why our movement is prepared to take back Texas. Not a single one
of my opponents can say they have this depth of grassroots support.

I know this won’t be easy. We are the underdogs they’ve tried to count

We don’t have the advantages of a prior federal or statewide campaign, or
the backing of the DC establishment and DC super PACs, or a rolodex full
of corporate and billionaire mega-donors.

But this movement has what matters most: The people.

I know with this team in our corner — all of us coming together — we can
do remarkable things. I hope you are proud to be a part of it.

The weeks ahead are going to be a sprint. I expect we’ll face new attacks.
Those at the top do not want us to succeed because we are a threat to
their power.

But I’m optimistic. Today, we’re proving that our campaign isn’t a moment
but a movement that is prepared for whatever comes our way.

Let’s go take back Texas.
