On Monday, July 20, 2020, the Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) and the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) filed suit against the Illinois State Police regarding the delay in issuing new FOID cards. The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division, Case 1:20-cv-04270. The ISRA is once again leading the way to protect the Second Amendment
Rights in Illinois. We will keep you posted as the case progresses. We are waiting for a court date. If you look into your crystal ball, you see more is coming. If you are not already an ISRA member, you should be. That is the best way you can help in this fight right now.
The General Election is only about 100 days away. The left is organizing, raising money, and plotting to steal this election anyway they can. You can’t let them do that. Yes, I said YOU! It is not up to your neighbor across the street or next door, and it is not up to your Uncle Harry or Aunt Martha, it is up to You! This election is more than just who is going to be President of the United
States; it is about saving the Republic. If the left take this election, in a few short years, the United States of American will disappear as we know it. That is the goal of the left. Your children and grandchildren will never know the freedoms that were once the core of the United States. The word freedom will exist but it will have lost its meaning as we know it and the new definition will be unrecognizable to those living today.
The McCloskeys, the couple in Missouri who defended themselves and their home, have been charged with unlawful use of weapons. If the charge sticks, they could go to jail and lose their Second Amendment Rights. Of course, the culprit behind all of this is Kim Gardner, St. Louis Circuit Attorney and darling of the left. She is the one who let the scum out of jail, many of whom, most likely, participated
in the attack on the McCloskeys. If we lose this election we will see Kim Gardners everywhere. Fortunately, the Missouri Attorney General is urging Kim Gardner to drop the charges. We will see what happens.
I have been receiving calls about where to buy ammunition. In Illinois, it is tough because all the new firearm owners, not to mention the rest of us, also want to buy ammunition and supplies are short. Last weekend, a couple of members attended a gun show in Indiana and reported that there was ammunition of all kinds available, including the elusive 9mm. I don’t know what supplies are in Wisconsin,
Missouri, and Kentucky, but if you live in driving distance of any of these states, I would try going to a gun show there to purchase ammunition. You can order online but you have to wait in line and will get some eventually.
