Folks,

It is NOT enough to defeat President Trump this November:

The New Yorker: "[The vast majority of Republican politicians] are not abandoning Trump; some are even choosing to double down on their embrace of the President...Loyalty to Trump among such voters now outweighs any policy position..."

This election is a fight for the future of our democracy -- and that means we can't stop until we've achieved a total defeat of the Trump era's divisive, harmful politics at every level of government.

That's why we can't let Trump loyalists like my Republican opponent anywhere near the halls of power:

WTTW News: Ives disagrees with critics of President Donald Trump: "I think they've handled [[coronavirus]] as best as can be expected...It could have been much worse."

If "conservative crusader" Jeanne Ives succeeds in taking this seat, she'll work to repeal the ACA, overturn Roe v. Wade, and weaken Social Security and Medicare. There's no place for that kind of extremism in this district -- will you pitch in to my re-election campaign to help us fight back against Trumpism in IL-06?

In order to get our country back on track, we need leaders who will make decisions based on the facts and the best evidence available -- rather than blind adherence to ideology.

We need leaders who will use their positions of power to advance the interests of the people they represent -- rather than the interests of their special interests donors.

We don't need another rubber stamp for the GOP's dangerous agenda in Congress -- but I'm a top target for national Republicans in 2020. Will you chip in to make sure our people-powered campaign has the resources to defend this battleground seat?
