I’m glad I caught you before ringing in the new year. I just got off the phone with my finance director, and she tells me that we are a grassroots surge away from hitting our final FEC goal of the year.

I know you’ve heard a lot from me and my team this week -- please know that I don’t take your support for granted. If you’ve been holding out for the right time to donate, this is it:

The challenges our communities have faced this year are stark. As I was sworn into Congress in January, wildfires ravaged Southern California. And in Washington, I fought against the GOP majority who instead of putting our differences aside to work for Americans, decided to put their self-interest ahead of affordability for working families.

There are many challenges ahead. But the good news is that in 2026, we have an opportunity to change the tone and hold the Trump Administration accountable with the House majority.

It simply doesn’t happen without holding the line in CA-27. Three seats separate House control. We’re preparing to revamp our voter outreach efforts to reach the thousands of new voters folded into the district after Prop 50 before our GOP challenger can reach them.
