| Friend,
Before the clock strikes midnight and we welcome a new year, I wanted to reach out with a quick note.
When I think about what gives me hope heading into the year ahead, I keep returning to the moments that demonstrate how individual actions and choices can add up to a powerful wave of change. The individual choices, taken one at a time, seem small at first. A willingness to spend an afternoon volunteering or showing up. A few dollars. A few minutes even. A decision to engage, when it would be easier to tune out.
That’s how change actually happens - not in one big, sudden moment, but piece by piece.
Tonight also happens to mark the final hours of our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. We’re close to where we need to be, but we still need about 1,262 more contributions before midnight to finish the year as strong as possible.
If you’re able, I’d be grateful if you’d consider making a contribution before the clock strikes twelve. Any amount helps – and each contribution is a reminder that this work is powered by people who believe the future is something we can shape together.

However you’re spending the evening – celebrating, reflecting, or calling it a night – I hope you’re heading into the New Year with a sense of hope and possibility. I am.
Thank you for being part of this, and for all the ways you continue to show up.
Pete
