John, it’s Valerie Foushee. I’m reaching out one more time before my end-of-quarter deadline expires at midnight tonight.

I know this year has brought no shortage of challenges along with it. This first year of Donald Trump’s presidency has been full of chaos, uncertainty and deep division.

But I remain hopeful that our brightest days are still ahead, John. And I can promise you this: I will always show up, and fight every day for the people of this community.

I will keep standing up for working families, defending our rights and freedoms, and pushing for a future where everyone has a fair shot and a voice in our democracy.

And while there are plenty of challenges ahead, I’m optimistic in the future we can build together.

It won't be easy, John. The road ahead will have its share of bumps and detours. But I believe in our ability to face them side by side.
