On the last day of this roller coaster of a year, I want to do a few things:
Share my gratitude for YOU.
Highlight a few of my favorite pictures from the campaign trail this year.
Tell you why tonight’s FEC filing deadline is so important. (If you don’t need convincing and want to help us reach our $100,000 goal, please chip in now.)
I won’t take too much of your time, because I know it’s New Year’s Eve, and hopefully you’re with family and friends getting ready to ring in 2026. But I wanted to start off by saying:

On July 1st, I launched my Senate campaign here in Texas. The grassroots movement we’d built in 2024 was one of the largest in our state’s history, and I was determined to finish the job and flip Texas blue in 2026. Even though it was going to be an uphill battle, the numbers showed we could win.
But sometimes, things don’t turn out exactly as you planned – and that’s OK. Earlier this month, I made the difficult decision to end my Senate campaign.
Over the past few months, I’ve traveled all across the state, meeting with Texans and sharing my vision for a Texas where each and every one of us can thrive. Folks told me their life stories, the things that kept them up at night, and their dreams for the future. Our conversations often got personal, and I’m humbled by the trust they placed in me to be a voice for them.
So, when it became clear to me that the Democratic primary would almost definitely go to a bruising and costly runoff next May – weakening our chances of defeating the MAGA loyalists in this race – I felt that I had a responsibility to what’s best for Texas and our party.
Now, I’m running to return to Congress to represent the newly drawn Congressional District 33. It’s one of the districts racially gerrymandered by Trump to try to hold on to control of the House – but it’s also where I was born and raised and where Aly and I are now raising our two boys.
It is my home, and I’m ready to fight like hell for it.
Ever since announcing my new campaign, the response has been incredible. I’m so grateful for all of the support I’ve received, and I don’t take it for granted for a second. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I’m excited to make more memories like this in 2026…

Y’all, these are just a few of the unforgettable memories we made this year.
As we look to 2026, I’m going to need folks like you by my side to keep up our momentum and fight for working Texans in Congress. And if you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to chip in to my campaign for TX-33 (or chip in again!), today is the day.
Here’s why: Tonight at midnight, we’re facing our final FEC filing deadline of the year. When it ends, we’ll have to report our fundraising numbers – and everyone will be watching to gauge the strength of our grassroots movement.
It’s critical that we not only hit our $100,000 end-of-quarter goal but also that a lot of folks contribute to make it happen. We want to send an undeniable message to the GOP, the media, and our own supporters that we have what it takes to win.
The truth is that the challenges we face in the coming year are daunting. But I’ve never been more confident that we can meet this moment – together.
