WCV’s Breakfast of Champions

John,

We’re excited for our virtual Breakfast of Champions in October. Not registered yet? Let’s fix that!

1. Please register here today and join us for our 28th annual Breakfast [[link removed]] that will stream online at noon on Wednesday, October 7.

Join us to hear from our guest speaker, Reverend Lennox Yearwood, Jr., the President and Founder of the Hip Hop Caucus. He is a leader in campaigns calling for divestment from fossil fuels causing climate change, increasing diversity in the climate movement, ensuring everyone has clean water and air, and international efforts to address the climate crisis.

We look forward to learning from Rev. Yearwood about the intersection between environmental justice, racial justice, voting, and an open and fair democracy.

Remember to make your voice heard by voting, and reminding your friends and family to vote, too.

2. Please vote by August 4 to ensure our leaders in office reflect our values. When more people vote, our environment and communities win.

As we gear up for the most important election of our lifetime, one thing we know for sure is that who we elect matters, from the top of the ticket to local leaders around the state. Check out WCV’s endorsements to find environmental champions in your district. [[link removed]]

WCV is already investing in important elections throughout the state. By electing environmental champions to these critical offices, we will continue to build a statewide movement that will lead to a sustainable economic recovery and an equitable, just, and healthy future for everyone.

Together, we will build a strong, active political force for the 2020 Election.

We look forward to seeing you virtually on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at noon! [[link removed]]

Thanks for all you do,

Lennon Bronsema
