Friend,
Yesterday, I filed the qualification documents to run for a third term in Congress.
It has been such an honor to represent the extraordinary people of Louisiana’s Fourth Congressional District and to bring our conservative Louisiana values to our nation’s capital.
We’ve stood with President Trump—first in the fight to Make America Great Again, and now in the historic challenge to Keep America Great.
While the radical Left is pushing its extreme policies and socialist agenda on our country, it has never been more important than it is today for us to stand with clarity, conviction and credibility for truth and America’s founding ideals. Principled leadership right now is absolutely essential.
In just two terms, we have cut taxes and burdensome regulations, taken care of our active duty military and our veterans, brought tens of millions in federal dollars back to the district, and advanced America’s founding principles.
None of that would have been possible without YOUR faithful friendship, encouragement and support.
Contrast that with what the radical Left has proposed – from burdensome regulations to sky high taxes, to taking our guns, abortion-on-demand, the costly “Green New Deal,” defunding and dismantling the police and throwing our country into utter chaos. These are people who simply do not believe, as we do, that our best days are ahead of us.
If you are appalled as I am by this extreme liberalism, and still think there is hope for America like I do, will you chip in $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $250, or what you can now to help us take back the House in November?
With the unprecedented challenges facing our state and our country right now, results matter more than ever. I'm proud of all we've accomplished and I hope I can earn another term to continue the important strides we've begun together. When we work hard and stick to our principles, we can ensure that we keep this great republic and that America remains, as Ronald Reagan said, “the last best hope of man on earth.”
Thank you sincerely for your support,
Mike Johnson
