Dear Friend,

Tonight at midnight 2025 comes to a close and with it, your chance to make a tax-deductible gift this year.

Your support fuels everything we do at Northern Virginia Bird Alliance: from restoring native habitat through Stretch Our Parks, to introducing the next generation to birding through our Next Gen Birders program, to advocating for the policies that protect the birds and wild spaces we all love.

This has been a year of tremendous growth for NVBA, and we're ready to take on even bigger conservation challenges in 2026. But we can't do it without you.
MAKE YOUR YEAR-END GIFT TODAY ([link removed])

Every dollar you give before midnight tonight is tax-deductible for 2025 and goes directly toward protecting birds and habitat right here in Northern Virginia.

Thank you for being part of our flock. Here's to a new year filled with birdsong.

With gratitude,

Amanda

Executive Director
Northern Virginia Bird Alliance

P.S. We're kicking off 2026 with something new: our first-ever Bird of the Year! Join us on National Bird Day (January 5th) to celebrate the Pileated Woodpecker—NVBA's beloved mascot—with a virtual presentation on all things woodpeckers ([link removed]) . Just like the Pileated carves out cavities that support countless other species, we hope to create space for our community to connect and thrive together this year. Register here! ([link removed])
